Eliminating false alarm
Multiple beams need to be interrupted at the same time for the alarm to trigger. The combination eliminates false alarms, such as those caused by leaves, flying birds, and other small animals.
How does it work?
Active sensors are devices composed of an emitter and a receiver. The emitter sends a beam of infrared light to the receiver which receives this light. When any object or person cuts this beam, the receiver stops receiving the infrared light signal from the emitter triggering the alarm.
